yup..the current tyres thread seems quite good although it will reach its besday next few month...maybe becoz of low mileage....only will reach 14000km this month
*
then you should expect longer lifespan lah.. hmmm.. really the tyre is hard and the thread still good after 31K km..
but one of my tyre got uneven wear and tear. so i should expect less.... sad.gif

uneven wear & tear...hmm..maybe becoz due to alignment problem
*
yeah.. alignment prob. but one tyre geylong one; the uneven wear & tear is obvious on particular spot.
it's an old dent, never fixed yet, then causing those problem.

QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Sep 27 2010, 11:27 PM)
How long have you been driving on it already bro? So fast got problem 1? I've been driving my Myvi for 3 years ++ already.... Still haven't notice any problems with it yet. Or should I check it out in SC??? hmm.gif
*
no lah bro. because hit pot hole lah. my area and KL area in general full with pot hole. my hometown also.. sighhhh.. i drove it for 10 months already.. what is the size for you myvi rim? 15"? 16"?

17" and above prone to dent lah.. the bigger the rim, then the bigger chance for rim being dented.

Why bother about the Forte sales in other countries? Only a fool will compare with Singapore when its common knowledge that its not damn Naza thats servicing their vehicles there. Its Naza poor after sales service standards which are bringing down the Forte sales which in turn will translate into poor resale values in about 3-5 yrs time.
*
dude, you're not a fortezen and dont know much any latest development.
do you know how many still cant get their car after 4,5 and 6 months?

malaysia is a small market. lots of demand elsewhere also need to take care off.

*

as for branch, cannot bring at all whether warranty still there or already expired.

How expensive is expensive actually? A normal service for a Toyota Vios with fully synthetic oil and changing oil filter and gasket every 10,000km costs RM 293 inclusive of labour and taxes. Plus since my car is old and im a Merit customer, i get free windscreen chemical wash in addition to the normal body and engine wash & silicon for all power windows to aid with smooth operation.

Yes the costs could be cheaper outside but paying less than RM300 for a Toyota SC basic service with peace of mind i guess is worth it.
*
at the same figure for forte (if fully synthetic). rm300 (fully synt + gasket + oil filter; inclusive labour and charges and free carwash)

what he meant by expensive if the price for engine oil in which cheaper much outside and this is applied to all SC.

Fully Syntethic Synthium rm 209
GASKET-OIL PLUG Rm2.50
FILTER ASSY- OIL Rm16.19

SERVICE Charge Rm 102.20
* 5 % GOVERNMENT TAX Rm5.11

Total Cost Rm335

Naza SC provides free Car Wash everytime
*
service charge depends on what part they're changing. if just engine oil change should be cheaper at rm70

doh.gif If u are considering forte for ur wife, than let ur wife test drive it, let her the 1 decide wat she want, if u really love her.

No matter what facts about other vehicle u bring-in here, none of us care ( not to say totally dint care, just that we are already know mostly of the facts ), because we are already one of the owner of forte and we are proud of being 1  thumbup.gif

my advice. dont buy car other than japs made. if forte later she join this forum and u and her arguing with each other. not a good thing for marriage, hahaha

yeah u can get 220km/h.. in your dream.. hek hekkk..
there is speed limiter for 2.0.. official figure from manufacturer is only 200km/h

i think no 2.0 owner dares to abuse their beloved.. coz all new car.. hahaha

arghhhh.. all my rim bengkang bengkok..

1 x medium
2 x big
1 x geylong

rm70 per piece if wanna repair.. headache!!
*
sorry all!!! apparently the previous shop try to con me!!! mad.gif mad.gif

i've went to Tek Ming Tyreshop in Sunway, and according to the supervisor, there is only 1 rim dented where the rest is fine!!

lucky i went for 2nd check at other shop or else i kena potong leher already..

damage
1 X 17" rim fix = rm40 (market price is rm70 - they have their own machine and didn't outsource to other shop for repair)

balancing = rm6 per tyre = rm24

total cost rm64

i didn't go for alignment because i already did that at previous shop.

i really recommend you to go for Tek Ming as the professional attitude shown towards me and cheap service. (except alignment in which a bit expensive at rm30). however, you could always nego for better price..

p/s: our rim is tough and hard. if dented for surely u hit some pothole hard and fast with sound like "gedegangggggggggggggg"
