arghhhh.... vy sad when driving, rattling sound from everywhere.... from front doors (left & right), dashboard, booty and seat (nyak nyak sound), haiz... feel so unlucky

Nothing is wrong with 1.6. The power is adequate enough to move its C segment body. & it perform as good as other 1.6 car if not better. Just dont put your expectation so high ok.

Regarding the DVD HU, here's the latest update :

I just got some info from Desmond. He mentioned that (sorry to said) the original HU panel for EX are already out of stock & no way he can find it now coz Hyundai Mobis (original HU panel manufacturer) stop producing it due to low demand. So, only SX owners can install the DVD HU as of now.

& I have to make it clear here (as told by Desmond) that the RM2480 price for the DVD HU are cash & carry price. So all bulk purchasers have to add RM250 on top of that price for installation = a total price of RM2730. Since that the shark fin antennae are of no use here (bad radio reception), worth to mention that he (Desmond) willing to add-on upgraded TV antennae instead (wind screen attached) for better TV signal reception.Worth to mention also that the reverse camera used in this package are CCD type for a clear day & night vision, not the cheapo CMOS type that perform terribly at night.

I'm organizing the bulk purchase of this DVD HU. Minimum 6 units are needed to get that bulk orders price. To proceed with the order, purchasers also have to give later on RM1000 commitment deposit in order to confirm the order.

u can purchase this HU later on when the warranty for Forte's electronic parts finish in less than a year time

i was at an SC yesterday to rotate my tyres after 12k km... and the guys there recommended this thing called magnetrap to be installed around the oil filter.

well i wasn't really interested in taking that small gadget... and came back to do some googling instead. found some links:

i already send to SC more than 5-6 times already. they still cannot solve the problem, fed up, maybe ll looking for Arul for this coming week. hopefully he can help me.

so far did you send to any SC to solve this? my rattling sound is everywhere, what i worry the most is rattling sound from dashboard, because maybe they will dismantle the dashboard and check, but i worry they will scratch the things, haiz...

how much for complete package?

bros! been using kia forte for 3months now.

just wanna highlight one problem, do u guys notice when u gradually press the accelerator, there`s like a swirl sound. like a lag before the car moves.

weird. besides that, so far my baby got no problem!

adjust throttle cable will do the trick.
