Holy crap! 56FPS is really smooth. But the thing about SGS is compatibility with some games. A number of games does not support SGS at the moment. Powerful GPU, bad game support. The only thing keeping me from buying this beast is it lack physical keyboard and of course, money. So, anybody with a kind heart and deep pocket wanna buy me one? Hahaha.



Owh yea, SLCD and AMOLED is pretty much on the same level. They reviewed SLCD of Nokia N8 and AMOLED of Iphone 4 on Stuff September, verdict, not much difference. So you guys can drop the arguements.

A few other websites also stated that its using SLCD. And if I'm not mistaken, HTC is making a move to use SLCD on all of its future devices due to the AMOLED shortage.

When a handphone arrives in malaysia you need to pay 2 types of taxes and a mandatory sirim certification (which governs all electrical goods and comunication devices)

1) Import tax
2) Sales tax
3) SIRIM certification

Now, number 2 is abolished. So you still need to pay import tax and SIRIM certification.

Hi, just a couple of quick questions, I know that most of you don't have this phone yet but I hope you all have the answers:

1) If I have my own pdf files that I've downloaded, is it possible to view them on the Desire HD? Or can I only view files that are purchased?

2) I've read through the thread and some say that by the time this Desire HD comes to Malaysia, there will be some new technology, I think Quad-Core and Super AMOLED was mentioned. Can someone give me more information on this? I'm undecided if I should get this as soon as it comes out, or hold out and get something better.

that is weird bcoz i use my galaxy s without any lagfix(btw im using doc rom, before this using jm8/jm9). If you ever use my old phone SE Satio, then you know what is really a real lag .
About the gps thing i never used it so no comment from me, some report it good and other say it worse maybe depend on location, i don't know...

Is the Desire HD using S-LCD or normal LCD?
I've been reading conflicting reports everywhere.
GSMArena used to put SLCD in the specs, but now changed it to LCD.

HTC Malaysia has announced that the anticipated HTC Desire HD and Desire Z will be launched this Thursday 25th November. There’s no pricing mentioned but we have a feeling that it should be priced around the original HTC Desire, about RM2300 for the Z and RM2600 for the HD.

We don’t expect to see any bundling by any telco at the moment especially when there isn’t any registration of interest activity. However, we won’t be surprised if DiGi came to the party with some bundling offers. We’ll find out more on launch day.
