Launch of DZ and DHD This Thursday.

and from
http://www.soyacincau.com/

HTC Malaysia has announced that the anticipated HTC Desire HD and Desire Z will be launched this Thursday 25th November. There’s no pricing mentioned but we have a feeling that it should be priced around the original HTC Desire, about RM2300 for the Z and RM2600 for the HD.

We don’t expect to see any bundling by any telco at the moment especially when there isn’t any registration of interest activity. However, we won’t be surprised if DiGi came to the party with some bundling offers. We’ll find out more on launch day.

RM2600 seem at high side, same RRP price with Samsung Galaxy S, if this is true then have no choice getting from AP sources.

not publicized till now..i think it's a press event meaning the invites given would be just for a few HTC FB fans and the newspapers/tech bloggers.not open to public. i could be wrong though.

Singapore selling at RRP S$888 same as iPhone 4 16GB, here iPhone 4 16GB RRP price is RM2290, so i believe the price here won't be so much different from iPhone 4 16GB price else SiS gonna makan sendiri. I will definately let HTC Singapore earn my money.

Referring to Clove blog, this phone is getting high demand & poor supply due to component issues, wonder it will affect the stock delivery in our country or not?

If we based on the Singapore price as basic calculation, then Desire HD price probably will be around MYR2,150
(Singapore price for Desire Z S$868, Desire HD S$888)
(MYR 2,099/868 x 888 = MYR 2,148)

Sound good rclxms.gif

Where did you read it from that its confirmed SLCD? I've read many reports saying its a regular TFT as opposed to a G2/DZ which is a 100% confirmed SLCD. Even HTC Malaysia on FB said that DHD using regular TFT.

I dont need to read , but i have the device itself and i know.

QUOTE(ahtac @ Nov 23 2010, 02:16 AM)
and most if the review also 'visually' saw that it should be TFT. but i do hope it is SLCD.

I let you guys be the judge , no point arguing with me.

QUOTE(koinibler @ Nov 23 2010, 05:24 AM)
guess because johnkor owned it,
but not sure how he identify it as SLCD.
usually, the spec doesn't tell you about it.
*
Yes i own it smile.gif

QUOTE(daijoubu @ Nov 23 2010, 08:09 AM)
Yup most reviews mentioned that the DZ looks better and have better viewing angles than the DHD. I've followed the DHD's developement for quite some time and was hoping it will be an SLCD too but in the end, im pretty convinced it isnt.
Yeah spec doesn't say sad.gif.

2.2K after claim fgst from changi how much??
*
the GST claim is typically about 5-7% minus some small processing fee. so assuming only 5% off, the amount would be 843.60SGD and at today's exchange rate would be about RM2061.
