yea.. i was wondering about GPS too.. GPS suck badly on stock SGS ==" .. dunno if custom ROM or other newer firmwares for SGS fixed the issue but it at least should be good.. i hope DHD is as just as fine as HTC Desire's GPS.. very usable, very functional..

Where did you read it from that its confirmed SLCD? I've read many reports saying its a regular TFT as opposed to a G2/DZ which is a 100% confirmed SLCD. Even HTC Malaysia on FB said that DHD using regular TFT.

and most if the review also 'visually' saw that it should be TFT. but i do hope it is SLCD.

Yup most reviews mentioned that the DZ looks better and have better viewing angles than the DHD. I've followed the DHD's developement for quite some time and was hoping it will be an SLCD too but in the end, im pretty convinced it isnt.

If you knew the history, there has been some confusion cause by HTC when their PR stated that DHD will get SLCD.
But this was then rectified, and all traces of SLCD was removed from the DHD's PR.

A few tech sites vs HTC's official statement, which is more trustworthy?

And, if you actually read the comment below, you'll realise that the writer did many mistakes (which was pointed out by commenters), possibly this SLCD is another mistake.

Even the famous GSM arena did that mistake, which they admitted in this DZ review
