If you have to re-open your Mini again no need lor. Don';t have to go thru the trouble again. Unless of course you've already mastered the art.

1. We start out by taking off battery cover,
Battery, SIM card & the SD Memory card.

2. Remove Rubber Plug using a small screwdriver.
user posted image user posted image

3. Slightly push the middle latch inside with a small screwdriver
and gently lift up the middle part.
user posted image

4. Now carefully pry open the sides also using Flat screwdriver.
There are latches on both side.
Use slight force. (you can see how the latches looks like in next Pic)

6. Easy, now.... Just remove 4 screws!
user posted image user posted image All The screws are the same length and size.. user posted image

7. Remove the black cover that is securing the camera & speaker.
user posted image
and remove the camera (gently pull it). user posted image

8. Now comes the hard Part!!
Taking off the Front Cover...
Use the small Flat screwdriver and push in between the USB & Handsfree
and try to split the cover and the plastic side open.
Like opening a durian. :-D

9. Work the same technique around the sides, very slowly but firmly... pop it out.. (counter clockwise worked better for me)

10. Now that you've managed to loosen the front cover...
careful the speaker cable..
user posted image
Open up side by side and you will notice 2 "+" screws.. open them! user posted image user posted image user posted image

11. Also take off the front Pad connector
user posted image
Now you can split the Touch Screen (TS) from Main Circuit Board. This is the time to disconnect the Speaker Cable, just use a sharp tweezers and pull the connector. Warning! Don't pull the wire! (pic of the connector in step 14)

user posted image
*notice the small plastic thing's location.... blink.gif blink.gif

13. Turn back facing inside.
There is a latch on the other side, just push it away from the TS
and push the TS out.
user posted image
Slide it down
user posted image
and ta-daaa!! IT's out.

14. So this is how it looks like..
user posted image

15. Now Transfer the speaker to the new housing...
take note that there is also a small guide.
If it doesn't go in smoothly then it is in the wrong position.
Don't force it, it is 1 way in!
user posted image

16. Time to take out that Phillips Screwdriver
Again... 4 screws, 1 hidden..this is to take off the front pad.
