maybe u try, plug in your earphone to the hole and pull it back out......it should work sometime the system cannot detect if there is a handsfree plug in or not ...

scratch resistance yea, wa much more tougher than cheapo rm10...cause those rm10 ones when its scratch u can actually feel a "deep cut" on the plastic itself...........for this martin fields its thicker too thats probably the reason y its tougher...but hard to put it on always get dust stuck to it
