if news are true, then we are probably close to remy's transfer as well, considering that the sales of benayoun and insua has gathered 10mil, which leaves another 2.5mil to be forked out from our transfer kitty.

although the LB position is currently vacant, i'm optimistic that a new player will come in very soon to fill the position because the player will know that he will go straight into the first team when they sign on. the only thing that matters now is whether RH is getting a quality player to fill up that slot.

on another note, i may have mistaken, but i'm secretly convinced that masch will stay for another season at least. he may be pegging for a transfer to inter milan, but italian football rulings has included a new law stating that clubs can only sign one non-EU player per season (after the poor world cup performances), and inter has got the quota filled. if the reports are correct, then masch will either stay with us for another season, or leave to another club, but it will unlikely be inter.
