can't say he caused cole to have the red card la bro, it's cole who got the tackle wrongly timed. but the referee also at fault to give red instead of yellow

Apparently Ngog is doing a better job in holding the ball than Torres. laugh.gif
Really unfortunate for Reina to score own goal. Anyway really excited to see all the spirit of the players back again after last season.

It's a fault if the ball directly go into the net but since it hit the post and Reina put it on his own net it consider as goal

This is football. We have to live with it. At the end of the match, it's the result that counts. There are many positives from this game and I'm sure next week will be a good game for us as well.

I m very proud of our team despite a little disappointed with the scoreline. We could have get full three points if we can hold on that few minutes more.

Few positives to take:

Agger , Gerrard and Mascherano played their hearts out. Agger, in particular. The scene of him insisting to get onto the pitch was very touching. What a fighter.

Gerrard and Cole link up very very well.I love how they flick the ball to each other when the opponents close them down.

As for Ngog, great finishing and good header.Unlucky not to get the 2nd when his header was blocked by someone's leg.His goal was great.Very torres alike.

Overall, I m very satisfy with our performance given it is a strong team and we were playing with 10men for a half.Pity Kuyt though...What a kick on his *private part*...

that's a good example of the danger in holding a 1 goal advantage... one crucial mistake can completely change the outcome.. disappointing.. but with 10 men, it's still a good performance ... no complaint

i think its a 3 match ban for cole. probably time for aqua to fight for his place. so is this goodbye for mascherano ? he gave his all, chasing after the ball, flying in for tackles, overall a very pleasing performance, torres seems off the pace, damn i thought koscielny certainly fouled him when they were approaching the box, well a fair result thought really frustrated that its a draw after holding on for so long, yes it was a blunder from reina but it was awkward too and also he went up to catch the ball instead of puching it as he usually does, probably the sun played its part too. hope to see agger recover, it was rather scary to see both him uncomfortable and the team playing with 9 men. flex.gif
