I suspect that the cables that you have routed are picking up a lot of interference from somewhere in your house. This could be due to a multitude of factors, including poor crimping or cable quality, your conduit that may be passing through a high interference location somewhere in your wall, or maybe the fact that you have actually connected two Cat cables together using the female-female adapter. You could try switching the TMDS and DDC cables, to see which offers better performance. Reestablishing the HDMI connection forces the HDCP handshake to renegotiate, restoring the signal back to normal.

For our other customers, we would like to stress that it is very crucial to use good quality cables. The best solution would be to obtain the cables from us, as they have been tested and are guaranteed to work perfectly. Beware of imitation AMP cables as well, especially if they have been obtained for too low a price.
