Hi there everyone....

first time posting here... anyway i got a project on my hands.

I got this cheap but good quality casing...think its a korean casing.. it weighs like 15kg

My plan is to strip all the outer aluminium off(front bazel,top panel,left & right panel) and leave it "barebone". im gonna throw away all those aliminium and replace em with UV acrylic.

Things To Do

* Sandpaper The Whole "barebone" chasis
* Paint it all Matte/Gloss Black
* Replicate the original aluminium housing with UV acrylic.
* Make some military switches as power button & reset switch
* Make some more military switches for fans and lightings

this is a 3rd mod for me... the past mods didnt go so well....

Pro modder Bombman will be helping me make sure i dont screw up.

anyway found out my ps3 can upload pics

as you can see the 2nd pic... the aluminium cover... covers the whole case(top panel,side panels) so im gonna replicate that cover with UV acrylic.

let u all use your imagination to see what this is gonna look like

share ur opinions and comments....

btw thinking of making something like 120mm "turbine" in the front of the acrylic bazel there

The complex parts like acrylic bending all that gotta ask bombman do.... but simple stuff like painting all that i can do...

tis case really old, the left,up n right panel all togather 1.

yea which is good in my case... cause can replicate it with acrylic.....

but the material is quite good...so freaking heavy....its material is like my old RV01

any ideas on what else i should do on this case?

so freaking heavy cause it's steel .. if aluminium it'll be lighter XD..

get some WC in it

WC maybe nextime in my x6 rig....

this case is just a cheap way to play case modding for me

lol hmm RV01 is steel or aluminium? cause its quite heavy im noob about cases and moderate about hardware

anyway this project been put on hold until like next week cause im quite busy.... now is perfect time for me to plan what to do/mod

think im gonna make this thing aircooled...

have yet to try proper WC..only tried those kit wc

take ur time bro.. WC'ing and case modding requires patient .. lots and lots of it..

wonder how many fans i can manage to stuff into this case

dont care if its loud or anything cause its gonna be a media hub

ahaha.. what form factor is the case?? Full Tower??

its a mid tower.... but weirdly its like 2 inches taller than my raidmax sagitta(my profile pic)...

Currently Sanding the Case and gonna put the 1st coat of primer shortly(after i get rid of the dust of course )

Done Sanding it! applied 3 coats of primer already.


I think the primer was a success? it looks so much better dy now in black


So how long should i wait now till can apply paint? or can i use the primer as a main color?
