the thing is, the whole price is a con, last time the digi thread got mention before how the iphone cost is calculated, it's basically the monthly reduction( the total saving column) + the new iphone price(which i recall they put RM890 for iphone 3GS 16GB in the Digi 138 plan)..in the end, u are paying the same monthly, just maybe a few hundred saved from the new phone price...they just make the calculation and put the cost to the iphone so that u didnt notice.

if u want, u can wait a little longer, there are word from a local tech blog saying that digi might offer HTC desire for a rather cheap price(the site mention RM1299) on their smart plan

and before they update it to this screen, the "iphone effective price" is actually written as "new price for iphone"
