finally I found a phone that is worthy of an upgrade from my good old Nokia N70.

Why I would love it

FM Transmitter
720p videos with composite/HDMI
USB-2go to browse files from my external drive.
"good budget camera"

My biggest concern is, if I plug in my usb external drive, can the Nokia N8 play video files to my HDTV from it ? If it can, then N8 will be my truly portable "media center"

Does anyone know?

My friends travel a lot and are photography junkies. They have to lug around their netbooks everytime for travel. If I tell them they could use N8 to read their digital camera's photos via USB, they would want to buy it.

USB on the go is the way forward for nokia. maybe with firmware upgrade later, I could use a usb-hub and connect my wireless keyboard, mouse and surf Opera browser using my HDTV/monitor. So it's more mini than mac mini.
