Can someone help me out? i tried to use both of my front (green) and rear (black) audio port to play my music. I am currently using windows 7, 32bit. When i plug my logitech speakers to front(green), and altec lansing to rear(black), only the front speakers gave out sound but not the rear. I have changed my speaker configuration to quadraphonic but still doesnt work.

Later on, i tried one speaker in front port (green) and another one in center/subwoofer port (orange). I used the speaker configuration to test the sound and clicked play. All speakers (2 satellites, 1 subwoofer for Logitech, 2 satellites, 1 subwoofer for Altec lansing) gave out sound. However when i play music on Itunes or Windows media player only the front speakers gave out sound...

Looking online others speakers work on both front (green) and rear (black) speakers when plug in...
Can any one guide me?

Thanks alot! cheers!

I then tried plugging one of the speakers into the Side speaker out audio port (greyish). When i test the speakers all speakers gave out sound, however again when i play songs from itunes only the front speakers gave me sound...

Probably, you should have posted this at Technical support since this is related to ur PC instead of home entertainment equipment.

Did anyone responded to u at Technical Support? I think its best that you bring to Acer, they should have their resolution team. If its still under warranty. Pointless if you are looking for an answer here.

Just my opinion.

that's because your music is in stereo = 2 channels.

try to test a 5.1/7.1 Dolby digital or DTS or AAC or any surround sound audio playback, or even in games that support surround sound.
