Any plant can survive without Co2 tank?
*
my plants survive without co2 tank.. hehe.. ur fish produce co2 by breathing, and they take oxygen produced by plants .. so its just a matter of balancing the amount of fish vs the amount of plants if u dun hav co2 tank icon_rolleyes.gif of course u need to have light

thanks.
Every Aquarium shop I go to ask me to buy a Co2 Tanks system or threaten my plants my die.

lulz.

Talking about light, you mean sun light or florescent light?

Newbie here. Still learning.
*
i also newbies here .. hahaa, can't compare my tank with all the pros here XD

depends on type of plants and how many u have in the tank i think.. for lightning i just use the light i got from local fish shop, plus my tank near front door, so it stil can get some sun light

Here are some list of LFS i visited last week looking for plants.

Irene = look healthy fresh, not bad was shock underestimate this LFS from the outside look
Petfamily = look messy, Irene is better
NA = promotion tank plant look messy and not healthy, others look ok only
Ikano EA = look healthy fresh
88 sunway mas = look healthy fresh, alot of choices

dont shoot me,just my personal view..still surveying
*

all head can be refill,
1)simple regulator without pressure gauge
2)no regulator but that valve is like 1stage control to release co2
3)same thing,1stage control to release co2

you need to release the 1stage control, then 2stage is your regulator with gauge, thats where u control the pressure by opening alittle only

correct me if im wrong
*
i see.. means they all come with on-off control, but with different knob rite ?

this one seems not bad for my tank

just dosed my tank with flourish excel =)

QUOTE
Flourish Excel™ is a source of bioavailable organic carbon. All plants require a source of carbon. This is typically obtained from CO2, but, may also be derived from simple organic compounds (such as photosynthetic intermediates). The use of either CO2 injection or Flourish Excel™ does not necessarily negate the use of the other. Because the processes of producing photosynthetic intermediates and building onto them occur simultaneously, one can derive a substantial benefit with the use of Flourish Excel™ either alone or in conjunction with CO2 . The combination is particularly ideal for situations when continuing to add CO2 could result in dangerously low pH levels. Flourish Excel™ also has iron reducing properties which promote the ferrous state of iron (Fe+2), which is more easily utilized by plants than ferric iron (Fe+3).

hopefully can see some positive results ..

It's much more expensive to dose with excel anyway in the long run.

And not all plants accept excel well.

( HC on the other hand.. LOVES excel)

its just 5ml for 200L daily or the next day according to manual

for my tank i use less =)
