Angel fish and yellow cichlids? Definitely a no-no.
And how big is your tank again? Even if 4 gold fish, you'll need about 3ft tank...

Perut kembung type will grow big too
Less than 1ft tank?? Not much fish choice, really. Around maybe 3-4 guppies will be easier for you to start off, depending also on your choice of filter. Neon tetras are ok too, but they're not too hardy and require more swimming space to really appreciate their beauty. This post has been edited by SweetPuff: Oct 26 2010, 03:56 PM |

For me, it's 25% water change every one or 2 weeks.
Staurogyne? Let me go back and check on their condition. My tank I neglected for 2 months already. |

QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Nov 9 2010, 02:37 AM) bored with my shrimp tank d.... first first they breed alot... den dunno why population reduce all of a sudden... somemore the substrate infested with snails... tank glass covered with algae... You'll need to introduce new shrimps into your shrimp tank every couple of generations. Else their genes will be weak from too much interbreeding.Added on November 10, 2010, 11:23 am QUOTE(crewmy @ Nov 9 2010, 09:53 PM) Guys - any tips on how to create the white sandy path or river? Planning to scape one, dunno if it will be challenging? Creating is easy. Good looking one is hard. Keeping it clean will drive you crazy. This post has been edited by SweetPuff: Nov 10 2010, 11:23 AM |

If I remember correctly, Shirui sand will look more natural. If you're getting silica sand, make sure it's really it. Else you'll end up with sand that will alter your pH.
