QUOTE(radver @ Aug 16 2010, 05:31 PM) I'm more curious about where he got the acrylic pipes from??? i get it from my friend... rm50 for 2m...But the result is very nice, the acrylic pipe remained clear even after all the heating. And most importantly the vortex effect is achieved perfectly. I want to give it a try if I can get my hands on some acrylic pipes... can open shop la..diy lily pipe for sale.. hahaaaa.... collect duit raya.. |

i suggest you remove the SAE first.. UG didnt have 'proper' root as other plant (HC,HG, etc), it can easily uproot especially when you newly planted it.
btw where do you get the UG? hehee.. |

for now i only have white led.. for marine i think you need some blue led rite?
btw not so hard to built it... if get proper material..LED, power supply and LED driver (constant current). in my project i DIY the driver.. commercial driver so expensive for me. if i not mistake, you also join chuisui forum rite.. i saw couple of people make & sale LED lighting there.. |

10W or 20W? wow.. i dont think you can get it from jalan pasar.. but you can try la.. i suggest you go to shop called online component.. opposite plaza pudu..and also shop beside it i saw they also have reflector for led..
led driver i make it refer to this circuit http://www.instructables.com/id/Power-LED-...nstant-current/ it's because led more depend on current.. get spec for the led..and power supply..then we can discuss/brainstorming.. heheee interesting project i saw here... http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum/showt...-CREE-LED-Light |

if u just get from online inform me the price, maybe i'll tumpang sekali...
cheaper alternative get from china supplier.. seriously cheap.. as for me 3W led just few cent usd only.. US$0.80 if i not mistaken.. but for quality compared to Luxeon, CREE, or else.. i dont know la.. and i dont think your 10W led will be ok without heatsink.. because my 3W led too will heat up although i attach it on small heatsink (take from broken PSU) |
