theres been to many problems with amazonia soil. so i heard theyre not selling amazonia for awhile now

55cm tank. approx 1.5feet tank
40cm tank approx 1feet extra 10cm

A. Basic/budget/cheap/testpower package (ur not gonna fully commit to planted tanks,not gonna jump in with both feet punya commited but interested to try try test test)

= 3kg ADA soil + lighting (2light like fongzai punya lampu) + HOB filter (recommended)

= RM38 + rm 30 + rm25

= rm83 +- (still can get cheaper lights / or u got ur own filter edi )

B. wana start with a little luxury

= 3kg ADA soil + lighting (beautiful light set but still cheap lights ) + bigger HOB filter

= rm38 + rm40 + rm45

= rm123

C. wana kasi kao kao

= 3kg ADA soil + powersand + 5 elements + LED lighting + EHEIM canister (overkill) + co2 system + rocks + wood

= rm38 + rm38 + rm20 + rm80 + rm199 + rm450 + rm20 + rm39

= i lazy count


lights u can find at electrical shops. cheap cheap rm25 can get 2 pc light T5 set.
or u got abit more money go get the beautiful aquarium light set from fish shop cost rm50++ for 1 light set

filter from china, a descent 1 can get rm29 lah

whatelse? anything ask nia

when they sell by liter/kg ofcoz sell them at higher price.. the more u buy the cheaper mah.. market price of ADA soil is rm38 3L and rm88 9L. that was the last time i check lah..

yes they need ADA soil.. ADA soil is the basic necessity.. 5elements minerals all works but noneed also nvm 1

now all udang babies la.. canot jual hihihihi

went to AI a few days back.. greens left afew.. ill go AI once in awhile to see any new shrimps there ornot lol..

any shrimps got eggs sure ill buy.. confirm hatch ull get anotehr 20 lol

use the soil in the baldi.. then add powder one layer.. next time u wanna rescape, u use pipe and suck the layer out.. so u can seperate them still.

i never tried tablets before.. and my 0.5l tank now already 11months and stil have 70% left in it.. 1 / 2 bps 8 - 10 hours daily

co2 tablets i think u can try google.. co2 tablets pros and cons..

no it wont.. unless it explodes and splashes all the liquid on our wall hehe
rm2.50 for green quite mahal.. months back i beli rm1.++ oni! bought like 10 and 6 - 7 got eggs hahahaha

HOB filter.

test the rocks with some vinegar.. if it bubbles its no good

i bought like ten.. amonth later it went to 30 - 40

now left less than 20.. and its quite hard to breed them nowadays.. maybe dats why price hike..

breeding crs almost every month

temp is at 20 - 23'c

crs eggs succesfully hatched.. but always end up 4 - 5 only survive to adulthood

so siok la u all in penang

cuz most of them get sucked into the filter i guess

pets wonderland in midvalley theyll give discounts on some stuff

u can go see the first page.. i susah susah do a basic guide for u all to see.. also read the pages, especially the last few pages, i answered some basic question on pricing and equipments.

if u wana start, id say start with a 2feet tank.. 1 feet abit too small + cant do much. 2feet would be nice.

beginners who wana try out planted tanks can get these few things first

1. tank
2. filter
3. lights
4. sand

start with plants that doesnt need fertilized soil. eg. mosses / ferns / fissidens / riccia / pelia and start from there..they dont need soil to survive. just get rm25++ all in one fertilizer once a week dosage would be enuff.

one stop shop would be NA in subang ss19. see pets wonderland pinned topics for address of the shop.

the only reason i dont go for iwagumi is becoz the ridiculous prices of rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
