Hi,

Did anyone ever went to HP Tower for interview? What would say about the interview? How does it goes? and did get chosen?

I will be taking the interview tomorrow so it is always good to hear some feedback from the ex-interview candidates.

Thank you

they'll ask some general stuff,
If you're applying for IT position, chances are the manager will be interviewing you so there'll be some technical questions.

In general they'll ask about what you can do/offer for HP.

It is a Technical Support Specialist field so I am well prepared with the technical questions and shouldn't be issues answering on those but the only thing I am worried is that I might unable to answer some really tough question like:

What do you think about working overtime or shift hour?

Hi,

I'm taking the position of "Technical Support Specialist". What else do they normally ask?

Hi Williepoh,

So do you think the interview with HP on Network Support Specialist is tough or most of the question is just technical question?

btw, you can get to Cyberjaya by taking the KLIA Express transit to Putrajaya / Cyberjaya transit at RM9.50 per trip.

Thank you,

alright tq,

well i think the questions not really tough, just that i forgot one technical question, mostly just basic knowledge, but, the one who interview me, said that she just ask basic questions, if i selected, then will proceed to second interview, that will really tough, questions will be ask by those staffs. ohmy.gif
they will ask whatever u willing to work shift or not, and basic questions, talk something about your strength and weakness.

well are you fresh graduate? if so try to say ur weakness is you are lack of experience in working environment but you will brush up bla bla bla.

I went through a short technical question interview through phone already with HP. My interview is later today. Do they normally ask more technical questions during the face to face interview? Thanks

For Level 1 and Level 2, it's required to work on shift. L3 mostly office hour, but some account they started work shift too.

I have got the Job as Level 1 Tech Support in HP Tower however, do you guys have any idea where is the nearest room I can find to rent and how much would that be?

As I understand the car park under the HP Tower is charging regardless of your position. How much does it cost per day / per hour any maximum cap?

Please provide me your suggestion.

Thank you

went to HP tower for L2 unix interview b4..
they'll give u an hour period to do technical question test. once your score tabulated, the manager and a few L3 tech people will interview u. Alot of technical stuff will be asked to verify your knowledge and skills.. i had to draw alot and wrote all of commands to handle the scenarios that were given if you were to handle it..

the interview is quite challenging tho but no worries. I do get the job tho. but the increment they offered is nothing much for me to move there.. and beside, i dont like the parking there.. haha.. thus i've rejected the offer.
