I "test drive" it for 10 minute 3 days ago at KL Convention Centre (PC Fair), set the 3D stereoscopic to the max settings (15% I think) and the depth of field is very articulate. 

Yeah, ATi should have something like this in their arsenal but I don't believe they will anytime soon,
because ATi doesn't have that much of a wide variety of technology other than graphic cards, and Eyefinity (which Nvidia have their own alternate version... IN 3D !!!!)..
Havok is considered an unfinished project, so I will not include it..
Nvidia although a bit late with their newer line of cards (GTX 4xx), they ventured into other stuff like Physics engine (Phsyx), 3D vision (games, movies, pictures), multi-display 3D gaming, CUDA, industrial graphic cards, PS3, etc. etc.

Plus AMD is pre-occupied with their own technologies like their processors hence limit the growth with their ATi. And the fact when compared ATi with Nvidia, Nvidia is the bigger company thus have the resource and expenditure in their field of technology.

Which game you're playing? Some games the 3D effects are washed up and makes dizzy only. As said earlier, if you want can download the iZ3D version of 3D. Additionally, the 3D-DLP Driver is available free to customers using an ATI Radeon Graphics Cards.

If Sapphire 5750 Vapor-X is within your budget, might as well get the normal cooler Sapphire 5770, only about RM50 more expensive.

If you are able to go to Low Yat Plaza due to where you live, PC-Zone is selling Powercolor 5770 PCS+ for RM555 (as from 10/8/2010), that only RM5 more than the normal cooler Sapphire 5770 (RM550).
PCS+ is the equivalent to Vapor-X in terms of these "special cooler"sort of to speak...or properly spoken: 'non-reference retail coolers'...

The 5750 'Vapor-X' version is a bit gimmicky because for low-mid end cards, such cooler is unnecessary since the 5750 is a cool card even with the reference cooler (the stock normal cooler)
So you either get the normal 5750, OR save a bit and get to be very happy to own a 5770. 
Alternately, you can find 2nd hand 5770 at Garage Sales...

First announcements expected in October
According to Digitimes, AMD will announce the first products in its upcoming Southern Islands GPU series sometime in October. Shipments and retail availability are expected in November.

In addition, the red team will reportedly cut prices on select HD 5000 series cards to make way for new products. So far AMD has been less than keen to cut HD 5000 prices, as it’s still not facing much opposition from Nvidia.

This is in line with previous reports and roadmap leaks which indicated that AMD would indeed launch several new GPU’s before year’s end. However, it appears that this time around AMD will introduce entry level and mainstream parts first, while high end products should appear in early 2011. It's still a bit too early to know the details, so take this with a grain of salt.

Although the news comes as no surprise, it is nice to see AMD sticking to its schedules. Nvidia is also expected to introduce new GF106 and GF108 products over the next few weeks, but they will obviously face stiff opposition from upcoming AMD parts just a couple of months (or weeks) after they hit retail.
