QUOTE(moshpit21 @ Aug 20 2010, 08:00 AM) this is because you havent change anything yet in msi afterburner, you just open it and thats all. If you change it and click apply, it will stay at your defined setting, it wont downclock itself Here is the small vid I promised, but the Quality is vy badhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mb6_b9HdTU Sry abt that, I'll link it instead This post has been edited by Clem1982: Aug 22 2010, 08:15 PM |

Price cuts are bound to happen, its the cycle technology goes through. Just be patient enough and good things will come
But 900 yuan in China is now about RM400 This post has been edited by Clem1982: Aug 27 2010, 09:57 PM |

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Aug 30 2010, 01:30 PM) really? I'd say its good enough, not too flashy and does the job QUOTE Aww...i still prefer tis "ATi" name than Radeon....amigos ATi and welcum AMD Radeon smile.gif ...hope the SI is affordable and cheaper than gtx 4xx series... biggrin.gif I'd like that too, probably having one-brand less can contribute to lower cost in terms of royalties.. hence cheaper cards |

QUOTE(Nosferatu @ Sep 4 2010, 08:40 PM) I dunno about others. but I too game with just 2/4x AA(2x mostly). 8x is overkill and you wont even notice the difference, especially if you are dead on focusing on the action. Well on the 5770 I could go 4x on 1600x900 but its true what u say as we will be busy looking for the next corner or the next alien to frag, just that sometimes will turn it up a notch to see the view on more relaxing games like Dragon Age |

QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Sep 6 2010, 07:40 PM) Give you guys some eyecandy on 6000 series graphic card. It has 2 DVI, 1 HDMI and 2 Display Port which I have no idea what is the reason behind this. Nice... Looks kinda long, I just hope they improved the sound level of the coolers, the batmobiles were loud the last time I heard it Most important thing, batmobile design again!! They are even lazy in design new series card lolz. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Source: http://www.fudzilla.com/graphics/graphics/...card-pixellized |

QUOTE(law1777 @ Sep 9 2010, 03:10 PM) Lol I was thinking the same thing.. Y not 512 straightaway?? and still at 40nm architecture? hm... any reason for this?? I would expect them to get to 32nm for the 6000 series. But good plans, full spectrum of cards covering all budget levels. Kinda made me sad looking at my HD5770 now as the 6000 series comparison has 256bit |

QUOTE(1024kbps @ Sep 9 2010, 07:11 PM) Want ati gpu with 512bit memory controller ? use radeon hd 2900xt Lol yea we heard that they'll make the jump to 28nm tech hope they get it done sooner than nVidia the the 512bit mem controller didnt see much performance improvement on 2900xt isnt it... and there is no 32nm for ati iirc, source on wikipedia say ati will jump straight to 28nm, and the 28nm chip is Northern Island. |

QUOTE(alexlow88 @ Sep 13 2010, 12:04 PM) Bros, need some help here. Which one should I get, HD5770 vapor-x, HD 5830 or HD5850 or the GTX460. One sales person told me to get the 5830 instead of 5850. His reason was that they have the same specs but the 5830 has a faster GPU 800 to 725. Can someone clarify on this? Don't get cheated bro!! the 5850 sure is more powerful than the 5830 if GPU clocks dictates the price.. ask the salesperson to buy my 5770 for Rm1k coz its oc'ed to 950 core Research 1st before u buy anything just to be safe, I'd get the Gtx460 or the HD5850 now if I were u.. else wait till the HD6000 series from AMD to be released 1st maybe it'll be cheaper by then This post has been edited by Clem1982: Sep 13 2010, 12:29 PM |

nVidia released the GTS450, Any guess that this is gonna stir the price of the current 5800 or 5700 series down a bit?
I know they have no plans to lower down the price when the 460 was released so howabout now? |

lol I know they'll focus on the 6000 series, just hope that they pay enough attention to the competitor in terms of pricing lol
