Well, personally, I dont think next can be a replacement for DSLR.... For me, I ll bring my DSLR..when tired of using DSLR, keep it in the bag and take out the NEX ...

I kena NEX poison...help... played with NEX 5 and NEX 3 with 18-55 and 16 f/2.8 =.=

get the alpha 550...

not to forget, a550 got hdr function and tilt LCD

I din say that the photo quality sucks. Just that the colour is too soft and not up to my liking.

Maybe it is on default setting?
But seriously, I am still impressed by the ISO control ...

If it's a tough decision, get both

1 a550 and 1 eos550... hahaha... use both, then see which one you like, and sell the other one away
If not, keep both..2 bodies is useful

u use a550, you snap photos
u use eos550, u snap photos too...

both are the same thing...we are in the same interest. So whichever you choose, you still in the photography network...

Of course, you come Alpha thread, sure we recommend alpha camera

the thing is, they poison you instead of help you to reduce money... lolz..

When go out portrait shooting.

Fren : Eh, take this 85mm f/1.2 go use..
Me : Waa, so good ar?
Fren : Ya la ya la, go use it.

After the shooting :

Me : Eh buddy, can pinjam me balik rumah?
Fren : Cannot la... Kena poison ad isit? Cheap cheap oni la..go buy one la...
Me : No money

nothing much, just some poisons from NEX and also discussion on EOS 550 or a550

hmm, first , u need to get a black cardboard for the backdrop...

normally, i shoot this type of shot in dark room..


(room lights on)
1. Set up all your stuff.
2. Auto focus at your subject
3. After you get focus already, switch the lens to manual focus.

Turn off the lights.

4. Press the shutter ( Shutter priority mode @ 30 seconds )
5. Swing your LED torch.
6. Wait for picture to load

woo, thanks dude... the glass is good because it refracts the light..

i shot this on my dining table...

below the glass is a layer of black cardboard...behind the glass is also a piece of huge black cardboard supported by a stool...

no need flash

@mastering, main main with ur picture...haha
