Gouki: 16mm is too wide - 24mm really saves you when you're shooting events. The perspective distortion is a lot less at 24mm, too.

gizmo_pony: 29 minutes and 59 seconds, or 2 GB, to circumvent stupid EU laws that define a video camera as anything that records for 30 minutes or more, and gets a leavy tax. I don't know if this applies here but I've never had to record anything in such a long stretch!

bring some battery issue here..
is all sony cycle energy battery = LSD battery?
eg: http://www.sony.com.my/product/bcg-34he4

by comparing sanyo eneloop and the above battery, what will be the advantage or disadvantage for that??

lastly, if there is any happy user for this two type battery, can pls pm me wher you buy and at what price?? planning get one

edit: another one question, i realise that some of the rechargeable battery rated at 1.2V (NiMH), why would this happen and is it ok?

More details about video and audio here:
http://www.photoclubalpha.com/forum/viewto...php?f=49&t=4258

While I would not agree on perfect distortion-free sound (the videos I shot at gigs do have some distortion, but it could be Laundry Bar's sound system) I would say Sony is very capable of recording audio with large dynamics. No Black Tie is such a place - the volume can go really loud with some singers without the sound breaking, but you know your mobile phones will have audio peaking and clipping. However even my Sony Cybershot WX-1 can handle it, with excellent audio quality and 720p! THe volume can get uncomfortably loud and still be distortion-free.

I want to hear what a proper audiophile or bootlegger has to say about this, though.

signither: Can buy cheap SD cards too LOL. Though it won't be best for video!

Gouki: I have not done any formal tests but well, both are alright by me. I just strongly prefer the 24mm end.

signither: Yessir it does. Wow 64GB! (I have a 32GB but that's in CF format.)

zstan: Yup - for FF, you have the Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 16-35mm F2.8 SSM ZA.

faizalmzain: LOL sounds like the bass is breaking before the audio does (if not I wouldn't be able to hear his voice!) That is a knock at the soundman lah.

And Ojie is always fun to photograph!
