deadangel: Post some pictures and we'll see what we can advise.
ezra_29: Yes, image quality is dSLR quality on the NEX.
braindead_fr3ak: Not today, but I'll come for your gig! And perhaps you could pass your NEX to someone else, not necessarily someone who has a NEX (maybe signither) just to get a hands-on feel for video. Since he has experience in manual focus lenses.
The beauty of having 2 cameras is that we can alternate between two angles. Camera B's footage is used when Camera A is moving from one angle to another. Optionally Camera C gives cutscenes of the crowd.
Best thing is, you can take the audio channels from different cameras and get enhanced stereo separation!
Hmmm actually since I'm coming from work, I'll bring my office laptop so the videos can be transferred on the spot to you (instead of you having to bring an extra memory card to get the video off my camera.)
Though, what would be most ideal is if the videographers all had the LA-EA1 lens adapter - the current E-mount lenses are insufficient for No Black Tie's lighting. I can bring my F1.4, F1.4 and F1.8.
We should have a TT before the gig, to train the videographers on manual focus technique - my friend was complaining about the small focus ring on the Minolta 50mm F3.5 Macro 1:2 (as well as any classic Minolta) and he kept going in and out of focus clumsily. I showed him how to get tighter, slower MF action that looks more like how the Panasonic GF-1 does it. The NEX focuses very fast but quite jumpily sometimes.
mastering89: Shouldn't be, unless without the ND8 it is overexposed.

U fellas wiping CMOS n CCD sensors with cloths n what nots must be insane. Where go ppl simply take cloth n rub 1? Even with sensorklear is risky and the service centers don't even recommend that we do it.

zstan, its called be prepared for shooting the day before you actually shoot. And that includes checking for dust on sensor and lenses. I always do a complete dust/smudge check on all lenses the night before. As for sensor dust, touchwood, i hv not gotten it so far. Its mainly caused by where/when/how you change lenses that causes it, it wont appear out of nowhere. And its crazy to use 'silk'/microfibre cloth to touch the sensor. They carry SO much fine dust, however few there may be.

Blower kena sensor n got smudge means kena plastic transference oredi. The plastic from the tip is probably burned in oredi. This is y the techies always say don't mess with cleaning sensor unless ur absolutely sure of what ur doing. Added on July 12, 2010, 4:49 pmAhpingko, the 1st bag is best coz can fit Canon n white lens inside. This post has been edited by ianho: Jul 12 2010, 04:49 PM

@ mastering My eneloop charger also like that, it's normal @ zstan RIP to your sensor Learn sifu Albert's way of cleaning the sensor, put your 2 fingers and hold the tip of the blower so it doesnt touch the sensor Added on July 12, 2010, 5:08 pmBtw, what will they do to my flash if I send it in for warranty check, the head seems like there's something stuck inside so it's kinda hard for me to turn it. And if I send my camera for them to clean at the HQ, just bring the cam & let them clean? Or need bring warranty card etc? This post has been edited by cassplayer: Jul 12 2010, 05:08 PM
