Gouki: Common misconception.

The NEX-5 actually does 1080 lines at 25/30p in a 50/60i container. Meaning the video itself is progressive but the container that holds it identifies it as interlaced.

It sells better when you say 50 or 60 fps! So they cheated on this.

You can pause any NEX-5 video and you won't see interlacing (believe me, I've tried) and I've converted it to 1080 lines 25p with no problems.

In theory... you could also change it to 540 lines 50p. Hmmm.

* 25p/50i is the version sold in Malaysia. Not sure which countries get the 30p/60i version.

so NEX5 die die also only do 1080i video recording? no options for 720p or lower quality video recording? then NEX3 really looks like a bargain afterall~

all those professional photogs damn pro lo..

almost 70% of them was using bounce flash more than 70 degrees when the ceiling the at least 7 meters high at the lowest point..

finally someone knocked some sense into them after 1 hour when they started to use direct flash. ok, maybe they were using iso 1600 or and above or 1/30 shutter all the time? oh well.   [/rant]

can someone show some pics from the NEX where noise is intolerable? means the highest iso u can go until noise starts to creep in to unacceptable levels.
