I just got my xbox 2 days ago. this morning somehow i accidentally broke the Memory card Slot A cover.

anybody knows where i can fix it?

wat u need is new faceplate
google for it

take it out and use a toothpick to hold the spring will also fix the problem

turns out the spring for the memory card cover duno fly where already.

Anywhere I can finda replacement spring?

I called GH to enquire. They say never heard of such case before LOL.

just curious, y are u still using memory card slot A? any removable drive would have taken over =P

anyway you can try buying old faceplate from those ppl that had a 3rod console last time if yours is white color.

it just looks funny with everything intact except for a black hole isnt it? =S

good thing theres like a Peg to support the swinging mechanism, i just support it there. No more spring effect though. LOL

You're so unlucky. My console at that time the spring jsut dropped below the console. Used a tooth pick to hold the spring....but wait, mine is a USB slot cover and there is a very rigid cover holder for me to stuff that toothpick~

Just use a tape and tape the cover back on from the inside since you're not using it.
