Lol guys! I just heard from one of the topic in FFxivcore about FF XIV gamecard (Prepaid card). Although he say is not a clear where there is a Prepaid card or not, he found it here (click me) , so let pray that is true and we can get to play the game without having to use our credit cards/visa debit! xD

QUOTE(victorchin @ Aug 11 2010, 04:06 PM) I think I will get the normal edition. The extras from collector ed does not seem useful at higher level. Lol,. i like the goodies, that why it's call collector editions Besides, this game should not be rushed to be completed hahahaha Added on August 11, 2010, 4:45 pm QUOTE(Celestia @ Aug 11 2010, 04:33 PM) The game is International servers, you get to play in-game with US, EU, JPN all in same server, there isn't a region server, only region account lock. This post has been edited by shojikun: Aug 11 2010, 04:45 PM |

QUOTE(Celestia @ Aug 11 2010, 04:47 PM) There is 3 official FF XIV site which are EU, NA, and JPN. You are able to register in any of the three site and log in-game playing with all people from all over the world that has registered under any of the 3 official site. But your account is lock to your regional site, meaning that if you register under EU, your account is EU Region, therefor is advice-able that you only get your client and expansion updates that only for EU version. Payment too will be made only to the EU, if you are bound to EU account that is. That what it meant to be account region lock. Nevertheless you are still able to play with all the other people from NA, EU, JPN or where ever they are in one world (or realm if in WoW terms). QUOTE(gaeryn @ Aug 11 2010, 04:50 PM) Sorry i didnt cover the region lock in front page xD i will update it soon... . |

QUOTE(Celestia @ Aug 11 2010, 05:03 PM) Yes, you can still be able to play with other people as long they are in the same server. Also is both EU and NA has is pro and cons.NA - Easy to get the game - but payment is a problem to those who do not have 3D secure verified or those who had them may still having problem to bypass it.. (MAYBE). EU - A little bit hard to get the game - Payment is easy even if we use VISA debit Although this is just speculations because we're basing payment method with FF XI, but i seriuosly doubt now because they might include a game card/prepaid card for FF XIV xD. |

QUOTE(cressalve @ Aug 12 2010, 12:00 PM) Ooh... Ok, as what I see from their site, they offer 700kbps DL and 200kbps UL speed. Do they really offer constant speed like they claimed? And let say I subscribe to 10gb cap plan, would the bandwidth be enough for me to play online games for the whole month? 10GB is such a small amount |
