QUOTE(kevafk @ Aug 3 2010, 02:55 PM) this is my first time on ff mmo, but im curious hows the control like? mind to share? would it be like normal mmo with W,S,A,D to control the movement while mouse to view and interact? Yes, you will be able to play with keyboard and mouse. Is preference matter, i can play with both Keyboard and Mouse or Keyboard, Mouse and Gamepad |

QUOTE(noone @ Aug 3 2010, 03:42 PM) i strongly suggest u guys to gather all english-speaking asian to play in same server by spread this new in all HK, TW, SEA forums. Hmm that may be true but i do found a couple of japanese people who actually talk a lot of english Interactions among players is the main part of MMORPG, FF14 environment or culture will probably same as FF11: [JP ONLY] [ENGLISH, NO THANKS]. Our play time is usually after work or school 7pm-11pm, same as japanese, but japanese will reject non-japanese-speaking people to join them lately after suffered from culture crash with North America (NA) players, which affect us directly. There will probably many missions/quest/monster/battlefields that give decent rewards such as good equipments but required a team of 6 to 24 members, you will see different japanese leaders shout in the town and able to make a full members team quickly, but if someone is shouting by english he will get ignored by everyone. To do different activities, english players oftenly need to find members in their own linkshell or community and make appointment, which mean u cant play certain thing anytime u want by just waiting shout in town, unless there are enough english players(with good fame/skills though). if u can speak little japanese or already learnt how to survive from FF11, then it doesn't matter which server u go. Also, never to think that ur friend who speak japanese able to take care of u all the time. |

Hmm, assuming that we are in a same server, i might join your LS
p/s : yes there is LinkShell and there is Company in it... Company are bigger than LinkShells tend to be. and we can have both since LS is more toward socials parties than Company that are dedicated guilds. LinkShells : Social Group Company : Giant/Guild Group. |

Staring Region/City Is it going to be easy for us to meet each other if we start at different cities? I'll definitely be a Lalafell Dunesfolk Conjurer from Limsa Lominsa 1. Elezen Wildwood 2. Lancer/Pug/Con 3. Gridania 4. Jecht(maybe) |

QUOTE(xundeadx @ Aug 6 2010, 01:59 PM) Both can be healing class, this is the unique part where you can mix and match the skills that you've learn when you level up, you will get some healing skills/buff and so on from those two Magic class so is both Conjurer and Thaumaturge can heal party members and self. ofcourse once you've learn the skill, you can apply them onto melee fighter >:O QUOTE(xundeadx @ Aug 6 2010, 01:59 PM) Only Rank requirements, this game have two type of levels, that is Rank level and Physical level, major part of the game involve on your Rank level, so items and such are base on your Class Rank.QUOTE(xundeadx @ Aug 6 2010, 01:59 PM) that totally depend on the game QUOTE(xundeadx @ Aug 6 2010, 01:59 PM) and if i am not wrong armour & weapon will break after prolong use. will it be able to repair on the field or must we go back town?? i know there is a crystal that ppl will gather to do quest. can we repair/restock there? Depend on the class. From what i know now, (may change later) If your Discipline of hand class meet the requirement to repair, you may repair on the spot Also you need to rank up your class in order to repair higher level of equipments, say you hit RANK 20, you can repaired rank 20~25 or 29 equipments Although this information may seem not valid upon release, but you may take this a hint on how the crafting, gathering, battle system is.
