what is the different btw NA and EU? 3d secure billing problem?

well im long time ffxi players along with my gf.. for like 6 years, although we quit at last year but i didn't end the subscription n still paying until lately around april i check statement found out they somehow stop billing, log in to pol ask the 3d secure thing. obviously i didn't care so much since we quit. i'm using CITIBANK MY cc to pay off the 2 accounts.

so if i was going to play on NA version, i need a cc with 3d secure? just wanna make sure. I think i have a POSB SG debit card which is activate with 3d secure, the one where you need one time password? i thought this 3d secure thing were suppose to activate by most of our local bank cc provider?

anyone is making a new linkshell for msian players and an admin to handle dkp system?

i will be playing the pc version first tho i not yet decide which version to buy. my gf will follow up, when the ps3 version release. i was hoping NA, coz i can hook back with my ex-ls friends but me n my gf sorta want to play with local players.

from the list.. i think we still lack of players for stuff like dynamis, hnm, znm, snm n einherjar (ok i know this events might not in ffxiv but something like that). maybe we can hook up with sg players coz they are gmt +8 as well. plz pardon my ignorance coz i'm not really up to date with ffxiv progress but i guess more members means easier to do big events.

it will be nice to hook up with some really hardcore people coz if u're ex-ffxi u should know why.

we both have experience on kill sea-nm up to av(b**** to kill), wryms, einherjar up to odin, sky-nm, limbus-finish, salvage, nyzul-complete, dynamis-all, znm up to pande warden but fail, toau-hnm, hnm, scnm, ks99 and those asorted nm in wing of goddess.

events we love most - dynamis

activities me- fishing n goldsmithing. my gf - cooking n clothcraft. guess we will be doing the same in ffxiv.

edit: as for jobs going to play.. not yet decide. my gf will mostly play whm and blm.

so what's the different NA n EU?

NA need 3d secure EU don't? which version are you will be using?

why not just get CC or Debit card with 3D secure? so don't really have to worry about it.

can we still play with jp players ? or they fall under their own region?

I guess i'll study abit on overclocking.... and customing h50 as a full watercool agent. Someone managed to customize a very compact h50 watercooling agent and it reduced the temp to lower then 30C.

I think the region lock thing isnt very important. It'll only be important for peeps who gets to buy any expansion or anything with free ingame items code infuture.
Don't frighten the folks in here who wanted to try ffonline for the first time.
Billing wise only the 3d secure and visa verified. But i doubt it's that terrible because se did mentioned that they will abandon Playonline.

I have troubles renewing my subscription with playonline before in the past. Though i waited a day or 2 and renew it during off peak time, it went smoothly. I believe it's playonline that's screwing everything up.

well anyway.. if anyone interest to join a inkshell base on na/jp/asean players can pm me. this shell are mainly peoples from ffxi and white knight chronicles.

this shell are mainly for people who aim to explore more in the end game, so alot of commitment are require. w

appointed an admin who will work on dkp system for end-game events. each players must be able to participates at least 2 or 3 events in a week when ur character reach the point of max level.

can pm me if interest, your nick, job u planning to play, profession, and which nation u pick. maybe the ls will pick nation for u as it is easier since the whole ls start from the same nation. www

anyway drama will happend no matter how..must see how we deal with them =D
