I've been reading through a bunch of threads in a lot of places and I seem to get this small particular that loads of people are actually selling off their wiis. I really do wonder why actually.

So, if you have sold, or selling your current Wii, why don't explain to us why? I'm a little curious in this subject really (heck, it may turn out to be good consumer feedback). So, fire away folks.

psp 2000, psp 3006 , ps2, ps3 and iphone also got lah.
maybe need cash to buy something .

I never sell nor intended to sell, but these circumstances could lead me to sell my Wii:

1. Seriously lack of funds for something else
2. When I have extra Wii from specific region
3. When Nintendo screw up Wii owners (via updates, accessories etc)
4. Someone willing to pay more than market price of a new Wii
5. Lost hope on humanity (or gaming in general)

ya one of my friend said wii games is for kids and females.

i sell my wii, because,


1. lazy play,
2. tired,
3. i kenot lay down on sofa and play
4. need more space , kenot play on small room

I tried number 3 before with tennis. Not bad also. haha. but I had a stiff neck later.

i own all of the console so far, xbox i play the most,


wii, i only play it when 1st fews week, after that...keep dust already.. ><"
bough the gamecube controller to comfort me, but when the gamepad on my hand, the graphic not suit me, prefer nicer graphic when i play racing game or sport game...


wii, the game play is simple and nice, but tired,

and I hate the cable!!
there is too much cable on wii,
the controller cable annoying me , (nuncuk to wiimote),
component cable ( 5 color mean 5 cable)
wii sensor cable
gambe cube controller wired


on xbox, only have 2 cable, HDMI and power

2. Move is superior to Wiimote, and also the pioneer of motion gaming
3. Sony offers original games experience (which makes you appreciate the games more)
4. It's a Sony
5. PS3 is hardcore
6. PS3 offers full HD and 3D experience
7. PS3 offers warranty
8. PS3 exclusives
9. PS3 have Six axis
10. PS3 have DS3
11. PS3 have free online
12. PS3 have 10 years life span
13. Sony are best towards their customers
14. PS3 have BD
15. PS3 have no games for kids and ladies
16. Bravia + PS3 = gaming heaven
17. More easy to buy second hand PS3 games
18. PS3 is all in 1 entertainment system
19. PS3 community is the best
20. God says don't play Nintendo stuff

Well i dont intend at all to sell my Wii btw lolx.
And Wii = Moving around to play a game = Yup it is Famous for that but after being a Wii owner for some time , games im playing usually makes me Sit down and dont move an inch to it or as describe lying down on the bed to play.
Thats wad i often do UNLESS is RB ( involves guitar and drums , still im sitting down and pressing buttons lolx , as for drums still sitting down and hit the drum pads) Or maybe im a lazy player but i dont see why it has to move around or maybe some ppl out there only buys wii for WII SPORTS ?

Again as for my survey or experienced

Cos i have teman my friends to COD second hand wii few times.
And those sellers end up selling , i Totally understands y ( probably )
Seeing the games that own from the seller , u know y they are selling the Wii lolx... ( i.e Games ive seldom or never heard of )

So ask the seller again , y selling ar?
Answer - nothing to play
Answer - Finish Wii Sporting
Answer - Bought Another Console

But actually seriously when u see their selection of games they owned
You know Y they are selling.

If i ever buy another gaming console
Wii will still be next to me , Will probably only sell it cos a NEW HD WII comes into the market.

I think the point with nothing to play is the point that you don't know what else is there to play. It happens a whole lot to Wii Owners.

Just Dance anyone? I bet 95% of Malaysians don't know about it. Not after Just Dance 2 maybe.

A few times adi i teman different friends COD their Wii as Buyers

if i do sell...it'll be coz i oredi bought a black wii.

wii got second hand games...only have to be a lot sabar to wait

game draughts are a norm...but when u're oredi working, u don't have that many spare times to play ALL the time

so i say, wii is for busy working ppl with family, other consoles are for kids and single people since they have so much time to play wahaha

yes that is soooo true. contrary to popular believe, wii is more owned by the head of the family, who is usually above 30 years old. ps3 is not so family oriented. the wii get picked up more often than the ps3, simply because we adults have not much time with gaming.

so back to the topic why would i sell my wii? for now, can't find a reason.

Having had the opportunity to use the PS3, I must say I won't dump my Wii. as Ramz said, PS3 requires a lot of time invested in it, which I can't really afford. With the wii, I can just fire it up for 30 minute spells with e.g. Wii Fit, and even get the wife/cousin/brother involved with e.g. Mario Kart...

I doubt the wife would find MGS4 on the PS3 as entertaining as Mario Kart.
