try entering the big 4 with a first class honours degree . and then score beautifully in ACCA. u will see the difference in work load and pay smile.gif

how long did ur lecturer worked in that firm then?

why not u ask ur lecturer what qualification did he use to enter the big 4.

if its what i mentioned above, yet his pay sucks, then i rest my case. smile.gif

for ur last sentence, well, times are different now compared to 20 years ago.

marketing isn't that glamorous as well. was doing that job last month for an event. stressful i tell u. especially when u call 100 people, only 2 people are interested in ur product/event.

I did credit control for a while... it was similar... and my ears will be like in pain cuz of the screaming and "pathetic arrangement" to delay payments... lol!

then i can say he must be really unlucky then. haha. all my accounting friends who work for big 4 will say pay is good but workload can kill and no life.

ermmm..it really depends where work la actually..if u work at small small firm..i dun think ur pay can be very high..

likewise if u work in big corps..u will get good pay but the expectations are bloody high as well.
