Last time during Taylor's Open Day this guy came that is halfway in Grade 11 and already did SAT came to ask,the counselor didn't really understand the American system so he had to call the ADP programme director and Business School's Dean to consult the guy ^^", the Dean told him that he can't use SAT alone to enter Degree , he needs a completed High School Diploma as well, though he told them if he were to complete his grade 11 and combine that with the SAT score, with approval of the pre-u programme directors he can enter SAM,CAL,CPU etc.

Though with Grade 11 and SAT they said that they could allow him to go into ADP depending on both scores, but if he did that he would have limited options after if he plans to go to the US since it will be a problem when most of the unis see that he did not complete his high school diploma.

SAT is not really recognized in here..
Only in US,will get a better recognition..
As SAT is just an exam..
Not a formal style education,so won't be accepted over here I guess.

SAT is just like one of the tickets for you to get the admission of U.S. and Canadian universities.

You can sit in KL. I forgot which place already. Btw you have to apply it through internet. I suggest you to surf the site of College Board to check for it.

I don't think there is any college having courses for preparation of SAT. You can go to library of your college to find a book named " The Official SAT Study Guide for the New SAT ". SAT is divided into SAT I and SAT II. SAT I includes 3 sections, which are writing, mathematics, and critical reading. The math is easy, but the english is difficult.

You can check the date for the test via this site.

Hmm. If I'm not mistaken, Malaysia doesn't recognize it, but MUET. SAT is recognized in U.S. and Canada. The result of your SAT test can't help you enter the degree program.

Are you going to study overseas ? If you're not, then you should not waste money on sitting for this exam. If you are, then you better check with the officer of the university. Some universities want the student to sit for both SAT I and SAT II.
