You'd better off getting a separate modem and router.......all in one tend to have stability issue & frequent DC........

It is hard to find good 3 in 1 router in RM150 range, try to increase it to RM200.
Btw, do you have any pc use wireless adapter to connect to it?

For RM109,  TP-link WR841ND N300 router is hard to beat. Connect it to your old modem and you good to go.....the best router I've ever used. It can go for weeks without any DC/stability problem........ thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Belkin not cheap and technical support.... claim 24hours support but try once before, at the end, keep on said: bring it back to the shop and test.... in that case WHY I need buy Belkin ?????

D Link is still the best and stable, at aleast most shops are selling, and even though i have technicall difficulties, normal shops still easily can help me trouble shoot / do settings easily.... Some more since most shops are selling, price variances are not many.... good for consumers

thanks for the info... i think i will be getting the D-link then...

Where got claim 24hrs?
It is Monday to Friday 9am to 6 pm Toll Free number 1 800 81 2076.
Bro, currently in the market got 2 good brands - Linksys and Belkin.
If you want the best then it is Linksys but the price is not cheap, nevertheless, most office and business use them.
If you want cheap then you get cheap stuff like d-link! Then, pray to the god of lightning not to strike it!

But RM150 is too low for a modem router, maybe wait for a few years for the price to drop further.

noted... another good point... thanks

D-Link DO make good stuff. I have been using its premium routers for years an never encounter any problem.
As far as lightning is concern I think no routers can survive, but Belkin can claim warranty for this.

It all boiled down to how much you are paying for it. You buy a RM100 router you will get RM100 performance. All those QoS, Maximum simultaneous connections, etc are found at those better priced devices.

Beck to TS's request.
The cheapest AIO router in town that meet TS's price are:
D-Link Wifi-G Modem Router + 4 Port (54Mbps) 2640B @ RM140
Aztech Wifi-G Modem Router + 4P (54Mbps) 605EW-L @ RM130
Belkin Wifi-G Modem Router + 4P (54Mbps) F5D7634 @ RM169 (over budget)

I would not recommend these:
TP-Link Wifi-G ADSL2/2+ Modem Router w 4 Port TD-8901G @ RM99

thanks for the help guys! I really appreciate it.
yuhhaur, I dun mind if it overpriced. It better that I spend a bit more, or else in the end I suffer with it. btw, thanks for helping me out...

Nope!
You should request for the actual statistic.

Been using all-in-one for 4 years now, which is on 24hr a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, downloading non-stop!
