Your model number is all over the place so I stopped looking.
Most HTiBs in Malaysia do not have HDMI Input, even if some of them are BD HTiBs. But the key to look for is that the HDMI input handles both AUDIO and VIDEO. If it can handle audio input, it doesn't matter that the HTiB cannot decode DTS HDMA or Dolby TrueHD. That's because you can set the PS3 to decode it for you. As for games, they did not need to be encoded in DTS HDMA or Dolby TrueHD. It creates more work for the CPU when all it needs is to pass it via HDMI. fuad |

in this case, your DVD HT receiver wont able to accept HD AUDIO (LPCM, Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD) from PS3, therefore nope, you wont be getting HD audio..even though you're on HDMI connectivity.
