hi, regarding kwsp withdrawal. i heard from different people saying different things. my sis told me kwsp (account 2) withdrawal can only be done once for all the amount in account 2, the consequence times will be 20% remaining. while my friend told me kwsp (account 2) withdrawal can be done every 3-5 years to clear all the money in account 2 which is true?

its depends on what the purposes u wihdraw. u can go to kwsp website and there have calculator. but if not mistaken, you need be member .
Added on July 7, 2010, 4:19 pmlet take eg the acc 2 = rm24k. then your house is rm490k then acc2 can fully withdraw. and not 20%.

Getting Started

|
Why not check directly with EPF? Just a phone call.

QUOTE(vdfoo @ Jul 7 2010, 04:14 PM) hi, regarding kwsp withdrawal. i heard from different people saying different things. my sis told me kwsp (account 2) withdrawal can only be done once for all the amount in account 2, the consequence times will be 20% remaining. while my friend told me kwsp (account 2) withdrawal can be done every 3-5 years to clear all the money in account 2 which is true? to withdraw the second time, the first property has to be already disposed QUOTE you have made a withdrawal to purchase your first house and have sold the house or disposal of ownership has taken place and now you intend to build your second house. Proof of sale / disposal of ownership of the first house must be submitted to the EPF. http://www.kwsp.gov.my/index.php?ch=p2memb...rawtype&ac=2683
