Hi,

Just need some opinion for sending small item to Australia, what courier service should I use?

Considering:
-Price
-Speed

I just can think of PosMalaysia Airmail and PosLaju, other courier service providers are so many which one to choose?

Appreciate some comment. Thanks

Pos laju is the cheapest and fast compare to other private courier.
Not the fastest but other courier (skynet, dhl, kangaroo, etc) will be expensive.

Don't ever rely on local couriers(Pos), by any chance. I've ordered a VGA transcoder from Play-Asia on the 24th May. Until now, I've not received my item and mainly its because Air Economy Box(no reference number provided but was insured) was handled by Pos Malaysia. No offense, but there are lots of unexplained delays in the offices. My handphone was also sent from Aus since March, and until NOW, no sign of it. My unfortunate friend has lost the tracking number.

Just recently, Play-Asia has been investigation on my case.

Please take note that pos malaysia and pos laju handle by two different type of postman.
Pos malaysia is the normal postman wearing red uniforms while pos laju is the postman wearing orange uniforms.

It's always wise to keep the tracking number. With that, anything can be traceable.
So far, I'm happy with pos laju service that come with a cheap price (compare to other private courier). thumbup.gif

I've no idea which service is being used, because P-A doesn't show any info on the courier used, albeit local. When I chose the Air Economy Box(free), the option states that the item will be insured, without the tracking number. Private ones include the tracking number.

I admit Poslaju is quite laju. Sent to Aussie, received within 5-6 days.

But bare in mind those pricing on their website, you have to add 30-40% for service + fuel charges
