went high and low at rawang in search for yokohama c.drive 2 tires as that is the tire i have personally tested and experience, and backed with a ton of good reviews (there are bad reviews, and the only ones i can find of them is its faster tread wear compared to other brand/models)
seriously, i have absolutely no friggin idea why these tires are so damn rare! :/

in the end i remembered that i want to compare advanti rim prices from the shops at rawang with Kent's prices/rims.
Called him up, and you know, might as well ask for the tires, and to my surprise, they just came in few hours ago from the time i called him up! (that was around 5:45pm)

turns out the pricing is significantly cheaper, with the expected total being under 2k, i got really excited and arranged a meet. unfortunately, time was not on my side, and he prefers if i reach before 6:30pm. with less than 45minutes minutes and a decently bad jam at rawang narrow roads all the way to jalan ipoh, this has proven to be quite a challenge. with no hesitation, i step on the gas, and sped my way as fast as i can, on broader roads/highways, im running at around 140+ km/h on my really shitty 13" tires, having all 4 different kind of models/brand (no joke) and one tire being as old as year 2005 (the spare tire, using that as a result from a tire puncture during the LYN midnight club gathering at 31st dec 2011/1st jan 2012 lol)

in the end i made it to his shop around 6:20pm++, finally parked in his shop at around 6:29pm (from the time stamp of my phone call as i had to go around 1 round as there was a vehicle in his shop during that time)

with no hesitation, we got down to business, discussing on rim preference and what not. it is a pity i couldnt have those ultralight/storm series from advanti as those are really really light being around/under 5kg, however the rims i eventually settled down was around 5.5kg, so that's not too bad either

Kent was very patient on all my inquiries throughout the session, since i really want to understand more about my car, which will help on my future car purchase/maintenance
that is always a plus in any shop/purchases, which surprisingly there are sales person/staff who can't seem to grasp that heh

At the end of the day, had really good deal on the entire rims/valves/bolts/spacers/tires package, good service on ensuring the alignment are properly adjusted which took couple of driving trips, and lots and lots of adjustments, by the time we're all done it was almost 8pm, which is way past his working hours

yesterday when i got my c drive 2, it was just delivered, and only 8 pieces. i guess they got sold out really REALLY fast >_<

1 pair was even wk 49 tires btw, damn new XD

i bought 4, he restocked 8, so its someone else

great services by kent as usual, help me fixed some squeaking sound caused by the brake hose rubbing against the car chassis (probably due to the accident i had earlier, and the chassis slightly misaligned)

lots of patience, and most importantly got the job done, highly recommended for anything wheels related (from tires to rims, brakes to absorbers)
