bad thing about pro lenses.... huge n heavy

so if u're doing some fun activity and taking pics at the same time, pro lenses maybe not suitable...u get tired too early

maybe can play around a bit with different types of b&w... experiment with levels, channels etc

autofocus works by judging the contrast between objects / patterns

if u're trying to focus at something that's more or less only one colour, the autofocus wont work. try to autofocus on a blank wall or paper; it wont work

since ure talking about clouds, juz set the manual focus to infinity

if ur 50mm was underutilized... it's likely that u will underutilize 35mm too since it's about the same ;p
