I'm not very sure what type of "LED recessed lighting" that you mentioned , but i got a LED lighting(down light type) installed in my new house few month a go, it look pretty good and very bright too, on top of that it also drawing very low consumption voltage too. Price wise is bit higher than the conventional energy saving light bulb but i reckon is a good choice in terms of long run, I'm sure it will save you a lot of money on your electricity bill .
