averaged priced but on the higher end of average pricing.

quality built is good and solid. expected when u pay that kind of price. no issues so far, claiming warranty also easy.

dont expect super cheap like ncb or liteon .

It will be protected. Who knows some rodent might bite it if leave inside the ceiling. Is also easier for future maintenance

you wont need the pipe if its just one light but say you want to loop a few more lights then what? how do you connect them?

btw pvp conduit not so nice looking, I've seen people use metal pipe.....very industrial looking. Or make geometric patterns with your trunking thumbsup.gif

Guys do you get an electrician or a plaster ceiling contractor to install your downlights?

DIY sifus, want ask question about diy pasang lighting

my house 1st floor oredi got plaster ceiling, can i buy surface mounted downlights/track lights, stick them at the electrical outlet wire on the ceiling and simply drill the brackets onto the plaster ceiling? or do i need to put wooden block on top of the ceiling to take the screws & wall plug? or should i use a special kind of plug called "butterfly ceiling plug" (local hardware guy propose to use this)?

the cost of merely installing light fittings is quite high. and for me its just more satisfying if i could do it myself for my own house. hehe.. and i managed to install light fittings on ground floor soffit slab. now thinking to continue on 1st floor plaster ceiling. thank you
