i ask amazon to send me $8 discount code for toy story 3. tongue.gif here is the answer;

QUOTE
Hello,

While Amazon.com is an authorized dealer of Disney products, we are not a participating dealer for this particular promotion.

Disney did have a promotion where if you purchased specific Disney DVD and Blu-ray titles, you received a free ticket to Toy Story 3, which was valued at $8.  Perhaps this is what your friend was talking about.  This promotion was offered directly from Disney, and the code for the free movie ticket was locating inside the DVDs.

I hope you'll be able to take advantage of future promotions. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
so its not handled by amazon. however, i finally received the discount code email on the same day, not sure co-incidence or not. anyway, ordered already rclxms.gif

i just order 7 titles and the postage charges by amazon uk is only 10.5 pounds. i am still confused how they calculate shipping charges
*
how can you get 10.5 pounds for 7 titles? IINM amazon uk charge per delivery 2.10 and per item 1.60. 7 titles total should be 13.30 pound.

it's 5 items for 7 titles and actually it's only 10.1 pounds .
*
QUOTE(valho @ Aug 26 2010, 03:36 PM)
Amazon charge per item, not per title, so boxset containing a few titles will still be charge as a single item. Like when I ordered Harry Porter boxset, it contains 6 disc in 3 BD box but still counted as single item.

so your's should be (5*1.59)+2.09=10.04 pound
*
£10.10 now make sense.

Better yet wait for black friday  whistling.gif

Yup, it's 4 disc cramped into one small case. That's why I bought 4 titles separately. brows.gif

I want to do the same. Already have 1, 2 and 4. No 3 price always above $20. Been waiting to drop to $10 like 1 and 2 did.

30 pounds IIRC.

plus shipping everything, maybe hit Rm 200?

@valho, how much your 9 Limited Edition BD?

QUOTE(refnulf @ Sep 3 2010, 04:54 PM)
Couldn't care less what design is on the case, etc. I just buy it for the movie. It could just be all white with the title of the movie on it and I wouldn't mind.

tongue.gif

The cases are all put on the shelf and not like it's on display in a glass case or nothing.
Anyone getting the Iron Man 1 + 2 steelbook from Amazon.de?
*
expensive. in that case better wait near to release date probably price reduced. once a while should be ok to buy limited edition. but problem is cannot fit in the shelf.

Good afternoon

As almost all Warner Blu Ray releases are free of region encoding I would say this too should be region encoding free and therefore able to play on any Blu Ray player

However as it is quite a few months before it is released, this has the potential to change.  The website you are pre ordering off should have the details as soon as Warner finalises the details.  You can pre order it now and if the details show up that it is region encoded (this will be clear on the website on which you order the blu ray) you can always cancel it.  Or you can wait until the details are finalised and pre order it closes to the time

Hope this helps

Thank you for your interest
just checking how good warner bros customer service. reply within few hours not bad. anyway, pre-ordered inception already. repent later sweat.gif
