hmmm a drama, not really into drama, I will only watch drama once, hence I don't buy drama BD haha, mostly just get action movies

hahha yeah, make sure internet is up and Streamyx don't do any maintenance

it depends, sometimes UK and US BD used different transfers so this might affect the PQ, sometimes you get different audio as well. You can check here for comparison between different region BD

If you're on "Streamxy", probably you're still safe?

I see some different in PQ from uk, us seem better in term of not so snowy from picture but color quiet ok.

Pan's Labyrinth the UK version has a better transfer.

Not all US versions are better.

yeah I got the UK version
US version have DTS-HD MA 7.1 but transfer not as good as UK
UK have DD 5.1 but better transfer, so a matter of choosing PQ or AQ haha, for me I choose the PQ since my setup is only 5.1

Anyone here receiving defective blu-rays from Amazon? I've gotten 5 so far.

Just complained about Ondine. It arrived, refused to work.

Now they're sending a replacement. Real hassle.

Tin Man, Green Zone, Prince of Persia, Ondine, Ghostbusters, etc.

My US version of Prince of Persia is fine without any problem. What kind of defective?

Takes too long to load and sometimes it doesn't load at all. Freezes every couple of minutes. Sometimes it just stops during play back.I test the disc with other blu-ray players to confirm there's an issue before contacting Amazon.

That is strange! I never experience that.
