Reading the book on my iPad currently (pretty good investment if u read a lot of book & comics n u know where go "get" em.
Damn they missed out quite a lot of details in the series. Like when Tyrion tells Jon the dragon story when en-route to The Wall. This post has been edited by epsilon_chinwk86: Jun 8 2011, 10:57 PM |

QUOTE(expl0it @ Jun 8 2011, 11:01 PM) ^yep, well there's only so much they can fit into 10 episodes And it kinda sucked too when reading & watching while knowing whose gonna die, go mad, go blind, turn into zombie etc. Stupid wikipedia spoils everything So alot of the 'details' in the books aren't included. IMO, its fun to watch and think 'oh yeahhh, that was in the book', etc This post has been edited by epsilon_chinwk86: Jun 8 2011, 11:35 PM |

QUOTE(greyshadow @ Jun 9 2011, 07:58 AM) who ask u go read wiki? Buy paper for collection purpose but iPad for reading. Its almost like reading a real book. will not hurt your eye so much compared to normal LCD screen. anyway... i also can't resist and go read up a bit thinking of getting ipad also for the very same purpose like yours, but I still prefer holding a paperback in my hand nothing beat the good old paper in your hand and reading while shitting Just read through Bran's dream. Really long la his dream inside the book. Drama only show 3 eyed crow lol. And Catelyn used ship to reach Kings Landing. Not on horseback |

QUOTE(lerijiso @ Jun 11 2013, 09:01 PM) 1. I think the dragons had been long gone hundreds of years even before the mad king's reign. The mad king was dethroned around 17 years ago. From the series we know that nobody alive has ever seen a dragon (before the 3 hatched by Daenerys) right? so..definitely not the mad king. 2. The last Targaryen was the Mad King. So, Roberts Rebellion (and Jamie) is why the targaryen lost their throne. Danerys is his daughter..rite? So, Danerys is the last Targaryan alive after Viserys (her brother) was killed by Khal drogo. I'm also a GOT noob. Correct me if im wrong. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by epsilon_chinwk86: Jun 11 2013, 11:25 PM |

QUOTE(tekplyrX @ Jun 12 2013, 12:04 AM) A lot of people forget that there are 2 targaryens left.. Daenerys and Maester Aemon (the old guy of the night's watch) Yeah I guess he's too old for anything significant so thats y ppl keep forgetting. Also since he's a crow his previous relationship should have been severed right? Haha» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
