 how to overclock?get FSB didnt work?, E5400

greetings~

i want to overclock my desktop, ofcourse, the bios the didnt have overclock option thus leaving me no choice but to use getFSB.
(actually, i never want to, but at least due to a forumer suggestion , not so far i want to oc)

it was emachines mobo, MCP73VT-PM

the mobo support till 1333 mhz(is it?) fsb.

any ideas how to oc this?
i think i forgottem some technique..

You mean setFSB? You need to look for the clock generator, also known as PLL (Phase Locked Loop).

if ur mobo bios got no option to OC, meaning dat it is not meant to be oc...
yes, u can use setFSB to OC, but wont get u far.....
probably 200MHz at most.

The mobo's model name looks like NV chipset. Look for nVidia System Tool or something like that.
Just make sure you know what you're doing.

from the spec, this motherboard can support cpu fsb up to 1333mhz.
