motorola and samsung better.
HTC sucks in after sales service. I never trust them after got 2 set from them. HTC slow/delaying upgrading firmware. They assume one version of firmware is bugs free and there is no need of upgrade. HTC prefer to produce new firmware on newer set. |

venus, at least htc still release official rom for the older htcs ( hero/magic) im using samsung galaxy (i7500) and there is no hope of samsung releasing an official rom for us. im forced to rely on drakaz ... ( not that im complaining, he makes a better rom than samsung)
having said that, i find htc devices to be overpriced. i prefer samsung |

Using HTC Hero. Will probably buy another HTC since the Sense UI is pretty unique. May also consider Samsung.

Using HTC Legend and I'm 100% satisfied with the phone. Next phone will probably be another HTC. They know how to make superb smartphones.

oh well, I used to own HTC G1, then switched to HTC Touch Pro 2 (Winmo) currently, and plan to switch to Moto Milestone cos it seems to have very good built quality.... however, 2 things that stop me from switching is
1) the keyboard of Milestone seems quite sucks (compared to TP2)... 2) Droid 2 will be coming soon and I wonder will it have MS 2 along with it? |

HTC seems the best, nothing beats Sense until Gingerbread is out.

The poll is biased laa. You're opening this thread in android thread with majority of HTC owner. Nonetheless, here is my take on some of the brand.
Nokia: Been using these since the beginning of time. Legendary, superior and spoilt for choice. But PDA is not their front market although they are planning on some in the future for android. Samsung: never tried any model, but this company is well-known for its latest technology. Thanks to Samsung, HC and many other brand get to enjoy AMOLED technology. Motorola: Waay behind the pecking order. Left out of the race after stale market since RAZR period. Now, they are trying to enter the market with milestone and perhaps more to come. I'm gonna make a wait-n-see stance on this one. HTC: PDA is their key product. Surprising for a Taiwan based company to be able to conquer android market. Expect to see HTC holding on to main pole for years to come. True innovation, open source and unique stlye (google-esque). Just the kind of thing that attracts yuppies. LG: eye-catching and pretty. Nuff said... |

HTC phones, particularly those running Eclair and above, are easier to show off to Apple iPhone users. I like unlocking my screen and showing the weather effects (especially the raining one). Also 3D galleries, Live Wallpapers and FriendStream are stuff that look great too.
