So my phone was stolen recently. Im very worried about the data that i stored in the phone as it contains some sensitive stuff.

According to the MAxis Call center people, if i passlock it and bar my line thieves will not be able to unlock it.

Any idea on this ? Should i be worried on the data ?

when there is a passlock there is no way to access the phone's data
the only way he can access the data is via restoring it which would wipe all the data off.

no need to worry la bro .. unless the theif is ur fren and he knows ur passlock code then he would be able to access ur stuff

But i think tat there will be A hacking tool to hack thru it..

they cannot bypass the passcode without restore it.

so the only way is to hard reset the phone

well, there's always a way to access your data...

but no offence, don't think you are those damn important people (e.g chief of police, PM, celebrity etc) that they want to really crack to access ur data..

hence..if u already pass lock...safe to say...most likely the thief would just restore to factory...

better you worry on finding your phone then worrying about stuff inside it. it doesnt make any changes

You guys pls read carefully...SENSITIVE STUFFS...means private/personal or confidential data (company info/contract data/legal issue or even his personal/family doc/film/video..) those things are more important...who really care about the phone to compare with those stuffs???
