my ex bf has a gf and lately he ask me to have sex with him, his reason was because his gf does not want. after i scolded him, i've never talked to him since.

I'm afraid I can't agree with you on this.
There's definitely differences between making love and have sex.
Well, perhaps in this case, making love should not be used, but i guess TS is using direct translation from chinese.
I do believe there's making love and have sex though.
Making love is not disgusting.

Making love is a wonderful thing and is different from having sex but many still use the term "making love" as sex.
Sex is not disgusting.
