The good thing about the DiGI plan is the free SMS is for all telco not only digi to digi but DiGi's line coverage is still a issue nowadays...
*
digi's coverage is getting better dy.. my fren sis using maxis line oso alwiz gt issue plus every mth overly charges. she so pissed off n switch her line to digi straight away once her plan xpired. tongue.gif

did digi ever have this kind of problem.

you call half way, then there's a loud beep error sound and show you Connection Error.

my maxis tend to have this problem, and literally, it's annoying!
*
i'm using digi.. so far dun haf tis kind of loud beep error sound.. bt sometimes line is cut off when there is no signal (bt tis is normal for every telco)

omg ... saw so many ppl talk about the maxis overcharges issue ...
probably what is the problem causes ???

digi attract me with it sms to all network n no charges for over data used...
my mind now still floating in between ...lols
*
it depends on hw is the user usage i guess.. some of my fren's kena over charges issue bt some of them no. they even try to keep on9 fb n youtube bt still haven't reach their limit.. weird..

bt i suggest tat if one dunwan so much trouble or fuss later on bout the over data use. choose digi.. b4 tat i was quite reluctant to switch to digi. bt after tat i felt tat it's nt bad at all. they haf the OCS for us to chat wif the online cs regarding any matter. probs is solved quickly. i once complaint bout the xtra charge of 10 cent for my internet roaming. they rebate for me. altho 10 cent is nt a big amt, bt who like to be overcharge? tongue.gif the way they handle d case is quite prompt.

yea.. previously b4 i switch to digi frm maxis, digi cs oso told me haf to wait for 3 mths b4 i can get idigi plan. no matter do it nw or later. when i go on their i3gs launching, the those big management, told me tat no need worry bout the 3 mths stuff as he assure tat he no need 2 wait for 3 mths.

conclusion is, once the iphone4 launch in digi. jz told them u wan mnp. straight away can mnp to iphone plan. cz they sure wan more customer.. nt shoo off their customer tongue.gif

as for the mnp.. there are charges on your nxt mth bill statement. in d beginning i tot no need, bt there is.. d cs told me tat it's counted as per number.

Some question regarding MNP,

I am using Hotlink Maxis now, say now I opt for MNP then the iPhone 4 launch on the 24th. If I understand it correctly I cannot get the iPhone on-spot. I will need to come back another time after my number ported-in then only I can collect the iPhone.

If like that, anyone know roughly how long MNP process takes? If too long I think I better stick to maxis.
*
dun worry. quite fast. in between 24 hrs.. previously i MNP frm maxis to digi

I'm wondering for the speed of digi data online compare to maxis...because maxis has more n big coverage for 3G area...but digi less... and if digi online without 3G line...is that smooth n fast?
*

owh i see...because i check for the 3G coverage in melaka...10% of maxis...just worry that if i switch to digi...but cant surf internet well or lag with the digi edge/2g line
*
no doubt when i bek to melaka, most of d area is on Edge. bt surfing is fine. unless u go into too ulu ulu places la.. like inside d jungle or underground or in a corner of a very deep block where coverage is low.. hehehe

Advice to All Potential Customers

* Please backup all your contacts / address book on your current phone before trading-in or buying the iPhone 4

* Please ensure that your NRIC is not blacklisted with any other mobile service provider. Blacklisted customers will not be allowed to purchase the iPhone 4

Advice to MNP Port-in Customers

* All customers wishing to switch / port-in to DiGi should ensure that they have cleared all outstanding payments with their current service provider
* If you are a supplementary line holder, we recommend converting to a prepaid line with your current provider before switching to DiGi

Advice to Existing DiGi Customers

* We advice all existing customers to settle any outstanding DiGi bills in order to be eligible for a contract signup
* Existing DiGi customers are only allowed to signup a maximum of 2 postpaid contracts per NRIC
