When you sign up the iDigi package,
Only activated the free call mins and sms (pro-rated).
your monthly cut off day remain the same.

however, the free data bundle is not sure when they will activate the free data for you.
you are recommended to use after 24hours u took iDigi plan.
Use *128*1*1# to check frequently if you must use data.
Or else first month bill come, you might get bill shock...

many ppl activating their lines now bcoz of iphone mania so u need to wait a while before activation.

If I were to get 16gb and would like to pay upfront which is RM2090, would there be any hidden charges?

The problem is not really that bad even though DiGi has the lousiest coverage and network amongst the Big 3. I've tried to emulate that death grip and thus far, my calls hadn't drop. Furthermore, you are going to protect your investment with a casing...so I think, it would be alright.
