Went to digi centre at one utama today. I asked them is digi releasing iphone 4 this week? His answer?
"Not sure"

zzzzzz..im quite tired of every night saying tmr digi will announce their plans bla bla bla..

been waiting for it for like 3 weeks ad..kept refreshing the page..

tmr ill just check this site for the latest update from now on.. lazy go refresh it..     

how abt their PLANS?

I guess many people will use a bumber or TPU case, therefore the problem is avoided, though not fix....I will be using a TPU, hence Im ok to purchase IP4 now

Yup, but for the sake of comparison, I compared using 12 months only.
I'm not comparing 24months since I feel that 24 months contract is more of a burden than a plus. Which means that after taking the maxis deal for 1 year I'm free to switch to any deal I like, be it DiGi or even Celcom if they have better Voice+Data packages rather than just sticking to the same old pricing.

Well, a very good example would be DiGi. It was RM88 a while ago, then it dropped to RM66. Those who took up iDiGi @ RM88 were stuck @ RM88 for two years, whereas those to took the package after July need only pay RM66 for the same package. So who knows? The market is always changing, and telco companies are trying to provide better packages to attract consumers.

Just an example mate... What I am trying to portray is that nothing is definate in future. So for me, I rather go without contract/as short a period for contract as possible so that my future options are open.

It seems that a couple of individuals here in this thread are very defensive when I pointed out the Maxis seems to be a better deal to me. I'm just providing an analysis from my point of view. So yeah, chill guys..

Look like not only maxis offer 2 years warranty on the iphone 4 but digi does

if my friend sign up for the plan but sell the phone to me, next time i wanna claim warranty need to bring my friend along?

Digi call centre mentioned existing iphone plan user can buy the iphone 4 at the price of RM2090 starting only on 1 November 2010.
